Sculptor and painter. Initially attended the Academy in Mons, then in Antwerp and Brussels. Stayed in Rome in 1871. Designer of figures, portraits, busts, Italian folk types and monuments. He taught sculpture at the Academy of Mons from 1875 to 1882, before settling in Brussels.
